pasta: how to cook properly

Time: 10 mins


  • 4.5 litres of water per 450g of dry ppasta
  • ~1/2 tsp salt per litre of water
  • (optional) splash of oil


  1. boil water
  2. add salt
  3. add pasta until cooked (see packet)
  4. add a few tbsp of the remaining starchy water to add texture flavour to sauce
