Ingredients
- 150g softened butter
- 100g brown muscovado sugar
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 280g plain flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 100g dark chocolate chips

Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Beat butter and sugars until creamy
- Beat in vanilla and egg
- Add flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Spoon sized measure of mixture onto baking papered tray
- Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown
- Cool on wire rack
