Ingredients
- 125g dark chocolate
- 150g plain flour
- 30g sifted cocoa
- 1 tsp bicarb of soda
- 125g unsalted butter
- 75g light brown sugar
- 50g caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 200g chocolate chips
Method
- preheat oven 175 deg C
- break dark chocolate and melt
- mix flour, cocoa, bicarb of soda
- cream butter, sugars in separate bowl
- add melted chocolate and stir
- beat in vanilla extract
- add egg and beat in
- add dry ingredients & mix
- stir in chocolate chips
- divide in 12 portions
- place on to lined baking sheet (don't flatten)
- bake 18 mins
- cool on baking sheets for 5 mins
- transfer to cooling rack (carefully, fragile)
