Oatmeal & Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 150g butter
  • 150g white sugar
  • 150g light brown sugar
  • 2 egegs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250 plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2.5 tsp cinammon
  • 450g porridge oats
  • 175g raisins
  • 1 tsp salt

Method

  1. preheat oven 190 deg C
  2. cream sugar, white & brown sugar until smooth
  3. beat in eggs & vanilla until fluffy
  4. stir in flour, biccarb of soda, cinammon & salt
  5. stir in oats & raisins
  6. drop in teaspoons onto ungreased baking tray
  7. bake 12-14 minutes until golden brown
  8. cool on wire rack
